Jackelyn “Jackie” Isasi is a personal injury attorney at Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath in West Palm Beach, Florida. She represents individuals and families throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse and neglect cases.
Jackie’s connection to personal injury law began before she ever entered a courtroom. She joined Lytal Reiter in February 2022 as a file clerk before law school and returned to the firm each summer as a law clerk. By the time she earned her law degree, she had already spent years learning how serious injury cases are built—from the first client conversation through investigation, litigation, and trial.
That experience gives Jackie a perspective that goes beyond the law. She understands the details that go into building a strong case while also recognizing the personal challenges families face after a catastrophic injury or wrongful death. Her approach is grounded in preparation, compassion, and a commitment to earning each client’s trust.
Finance Background, Litigation Focus
Jackie’s background in finance and business gives her a valuable perspective when handling complex personal injury cases. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University in 2021 and her Master of Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2023.
In catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, the financial impact can extend far into the future. Lost wages, diminished earning capacity, ongoing medical treatment, and other economic losses can be substantial and difficult to calculate. Jackie’s financial training helps her analyze these damages, work effectively with economic and medical experts, and present complex financial information clearly to insurance companies and juries.
Jackie earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law in May 2026. During law school, she was a member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL), the Cuban American Student Bar Association, and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society.
Deep Roots in Palm Beach County
Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Jackie is proud of her Cuban American heritage and deep roots in the West Palm Beach community. She graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in 2018, and her family has been part of the local community for generations.
Her grandfather founded one of the first Cuban American-owned businesses in West Palm Beach—a furniture store he operated for 50 years. Jackie grew up working there, where she learned lessons that continue to guide her today: show up, work hard, treat people with respect, and earn their trust one conversation at a time.
Those values remain central to the way Jackie represents her clients. She understands that many of the people who come to her are facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She strives to provide not only strong legal advocacy, but also the attention, respect, and personal support her clients deserve.
Outside of the office, Jackie enjoys CrossFit, traveling, and spending time at South Florida’s beaches. She also enjoys spending time with her Havanese, Mojito, who is rarely far from her side.
